(Kost) and John W. Brown. SCHILLING, JANE (BROWN), 92, passed away Friday April 27, 2012 at Jewish Hospital. She was born in Louisville, to John and Charlotte (Kost) Brown. Jane was a former service representative with the Southern Bell Telephone Co., a member of Beechmont Presbyterian Church, South Louisville Community Ministries, Cabbage Patch, and Welcome Wagon. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Richard "Dick" Schilling and her sister, Betty Ann Lang. Survivors include a son, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A special thank you to all personnel and many friends at the Friendship House. Funeral service will be held noon Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 1 - 8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.
