Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek. Clara Meidinger, daughter of Ferdinand and Dorothea (Rudolf) Meidinger was born July 10, 1918, in Wishek. She grew up and attended rural school. Clara worked in Bismarck at a hotel as a housekeeper. In 1941, she returned home to help with the family. Clara married Leo Miller Nov. 24, 1949, in Wishek. She worked at the Wishek Home for the Aged as a CNA until retiring in 2000. Clara was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wishek. She enjoyed walking and was very health conscious. Clara enjoyed having her grandchildren stay with her for three to four weeks over their summer vacation. Clara died Feb. 23, 2012, at the Wishek Home for the Aged, Wishek. She was 93 years old. Clara is survived by one son, Joel Miller, Dunseith; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Roy (Luella) Meidinger, Wishek, Tom (Millie) Meidinger, Fargo, Bill (Leona) Meidinger, Ashley, Art Meidinger, Placerville, Calif., Joe (Melvina) Meidinger, Wishek, and Walter ( Marvalene) Meidinger, Wishek; and two sisters, Rose Heyne, Wishek, and Wilma Speidel, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her daughter-in-law, Karen; her parents; two brothers, Oscar and Richard; and one sister, Ruth.
