Kehner, 89, of Kent, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at Regency Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 23, 1919, in Ravenna, to Harry and Gertrude (Englehart) Kehner. He was a machine operator for 33 years at Lamson & Sessions later known as RB&W. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Madonna(Wagner) Kehner, whom he married on June 8, 1946; daughter, Karen (Harry) Grinnell of Kent; sisters, Rosemary Kehner of Randolph, Sister Mary Caron Kehner SND of Chardon and Mary Ann (Richard) Bergert of Alliance; sisters-in-law, Martha Kehner of Ravenna, Jean Kehner of Randolph and Marie Kehner of Randolph; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren,; two step great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Gertrude (Englehart) Kehner; brothers, Bernard, Walter and Richard Kehner. Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9 PM Monday, April 27 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 28 at St. Patrick Church in Kent. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
