He also played basketball for the Bausch & Lomb Team of the Rochester City Basketball League. Frank met Louise Frances Hemmer while working at Bausch & Lomb Optical Company. They were married on August 26, 1924 in (Old) St. Andrew's Church in Rochester, New York. They had two daughters Jane and Shirley. They resided at 51 Lanvale Park.
