ASHLEY -- Emma B. Green, 80, Ashley, died Dec. 29, 1994, in the Ashley nursing home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Wishek, with burial in Linton Cemetery.

BENDER (GREEN), Emma B.
Emma B. Green, 80, of Ashley died Thursday, December 29, 1994, at the Ashley Nursing Home.
She was born April 9, 1914, at Winona to John and Christine (Lindemann) Bender. Emma grew up in the Linton area and attended rural Emmons County schools. She was married to Roy Hildreth at Linton, and they made their home in that area. He died in April of 1969. She later married Charles R. Green at Roundup, Montana, where they lived. Following Mr. Green's death in 1971, she moved to Billings, Montana, and later to Bismarck to live with her brother. Since August of 1992, Emma resided at the Ashley Nursing Home.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Hildreth of Alaska; one daughter, Christine of Superior, Montana; two stepsons, Harry T. Green of Albert Lea, Minnesota and Raymond Green, of Henderson, Nevada; 10 step-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Bender of Bismarck and Philip Bender of Roundup, Montana; two sisters, Caroline Buckles of Washington State and Margaret Pulse of Glendive, Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and one daughter, Irene.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 31, 1994, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Wishek. Internment was in the Linton City Cemetery.
Dahlstrom Funeral Home of Wishek was in charge of arrangements.
