Birth: Feb. 25, 1826 Darmstadt Darmstädter Stadtkreis Hessen, Germany Death: Sep. 19, 1890 Washington County Wisconsin, USA Mrs. Gertrude Bohn, nee Lang, died at her home in the town of Trenton, on Friday morning of last week in consequence of a stroke of apoplexy. The deceased was born February 25, 1826 and was therefore 64 years old at the time of her death. Her husband, Franz Bohn, passed on about a quarter of a century ago. Of her children only 3 survive her – Lizzie, Frank and Henry. None of these are married and reside together on the old homestead on which their parents settled about 45 years ago. The funeral took place last Monday from the Catholic Church in this city, Rev. Father Stupfel officiating. The funeral train contained 79 carriages and wagons, telling of the large number of friends who had held her in high esteem while she was on earth.
