She was a daughter of Charles and Rachel Anna (Hauter) Clifford. Both her first husband, O.J. Hardin, and her second husband, LeRoy Rupert, precede her in death. Surviving are three sons with her first husband, O.J. Jr. (Pat), Green Cove Springs, FL., Mickeal (Susie), Wapakoneta, and Barry (Candy), Beavercreek, and three sons by her second husband, Michael (Irene), Framingham, MA., Jack (Nancy), Seabrook, TX., and Douglas H. (Marcy), New Knoxville; two daughters, Carol Sue (Don) Shuler, St. Marys, and Deb (Dean) Kile, Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Charles (Dorothy), St. Marys; a sister, Mary Beckstedt Grimm, Celina; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Gene and Stanley Clifford, and a great-granddaughter. She retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, where she had worked in the weatherstripping department.
