Survivors include his wife, Marie (Peters) Remmel; three daughters, Anita Remmel, Wausau, Donna (Frank) Ellenbecker, Rice Lake, and Sharon Remmel, Maplewood, Minn.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn (Victor) Tranetzke and Marjorie Peterson, both of Wausau; and one stepsister, Iva Hansen, Green Bay.
