Armstrong, 66, a longtime Withrow area resident, died Thursday, June 10, 1993, at her home. She was born May 22, 1927, to Philip and Minnie (Berger) Haney at Nappanee, Ind., where she received her early education. She moved to Wenatchee where she graduated from high school. She married Loren Armstrong on Jan. 1, 1947, at Wenatchee, and they moved to the Withrow area where she had since made her home. Mrs. Armstrong had worked as a caregiver for the elderly for many years. She is survived by a nephew and his wife, Robert and Florian Cripe of Wenatchee; and a special friend, Melba K. Firoved of Waterville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren, in 1978. Arrangements are by the Waterville Funeral Home. Family links: Parents: Philip Edward Haney (1884 - 1968) Minnie M.
