Philip HANEY, 84, R.R. 1, Bristol, died Wednesday in the Elkhart hospital. He had been in failing health six months.
He was born July 18, 1884, in Kosciusko county. His first marriage was to Minnie BURGER, who died in 1939. His second marriage was to Emma MYERS, who survives. Mr. Haney was an ordained minister in the E.U.B. church serving in the Culver and Rochester districts.
Surviving are one son, Edgar HANEY, R.R. 2, Goshen, and a daughter, Lorna ARMSTRONG, of Withrow, Wash.; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren, and four brothers.
Final rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Bethel United Methodist church in Elkhart. The Rev. HENDRIX will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery near Kewanna. Friends may call at the White funeral home in Elkhart.
