"Frank" Meinhart, 62, of Island Grove, died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 1996, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Island Grove. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Island Grove. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.Memorials can be made to Hospice of Lincolnland or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Island Grove.Meinhart was born May 9, 1934, in Island Grove, the son of Leo and Margaret (Garwood) Meinhart. He married Luella Lohman Sept. 25, 1954. She preceded him in death in 1988. He then married Hazel Sparling Aug. 4, 1990.He was a fourth generation farmer, all who lived and operated the farm for a lifetime, at the same location.
