Rosina "Rose" Christina Knodel was born 10 Nov 1851 in Teplitz, Akkerman, Bessarabia, Russia (Southwest Ukraine). She was baptized 11 Nov 1851 in Alt Arzis, Akkerman Region of Bessarabia, Russia (now Southwestern Ukraine).
On 9 Nov 1872 She married Johannes "John" Friedrick Lindemann Sr (12 Jul 1850 - 27 Dec 1919) in Alt Arzis, Akkerman Region of Bessarabia, Russia (now Southwestern Ukraine).
While still in Russia she gave birth to Johannes "John" Friedrick Lindemann (12 Mar 1876 - 7 Apr 1945) in Friedenstal, Akkermann Region, Bessarabia, Russia; Gottlieb Lindemann (21 May 1880 - 14 Jul 1961) in Akkermann Region, Bessarabia, Russia; and Magdalena Lindemann (May 1882 - ?) in Akkermann Region, Bessarabia, Russia.
She along with her husband and young family immigrated to South Dakota in 1884. In the following Spring twins were born: Christina (5 Apr 1885 - 26 Jul 1940) and Philip (5 Apr 1885 - Nov 1966) Lindemann, in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota. Two years later, Jacob "Jack" Lindeman (25 July 1887 - ?) was born in Campbell County, South Dakota followed by in April 1890 the birth of Friedrick "Fred" Lindemann (Apr 1890 - 9 Sep 1976).

In 1910 the family once again immigrated, this time to Canada. The 1916 census for the Medicine Hat region includes Rose and her family.
Her husband Johannes "John" Friedrick Lindemann died on 27 December 1919 and was buried in the Congregational Matthaus Cemetery, Schuler, Alberta, Canada.
In 1928 Rose re-married the widow Michael Trekofski of Irvine, Alberta. They resided in Irvine until his death in 1933.
On 9 March 1936 Rose passed away and was buried in the Congregational Matthaus Cemetery, Schuler, Alberta, Canada. The burial was registered under the name of Rosina Trekofski.
