Birth: Feb. 18, 1933 Austin Mower County Minnesota, USA Death: Nov. 5, 2011 Fort Smith Sebastian County Arkansas, USA Nadine "Tena" (Tune) Smith 78, of Muldrow Oklahoma passed away peacefully at Sparks Hospice Care at Fort Smith, AR on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 following a short illness. Nadine, daughter of Mildred and Irwin Baldus of Austin, MN, was born on February 18th, 1933. She grew up in the Austin/Grand Meadow area. She married Arnold E. Tune on Oct. 18th, 1950. They had four children. The family moved to Kasson, MN in 1965. Nadine was a homemaker and drove a school bus in the Kasson area. Her interests were camping and embroidery. After Arnold 's death in 1985, Nadine married Ed Smith January 17th, 1986, they resided in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Nadine is survived by her husband Ed Smith of Muldrow Oklahoma, three sons: Arnold Richard of Kasson, Donald E. (Ginger) of Faribault and David Jay of Mantorville, a daughter Bonnie Marie of Stewartville, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister Pat Sawyer of Goodland, KS. A memorial will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 from 1:00-6 p.m. at the Mantorville Senior Citizen Center, 601 Clay Street Mantorville. The officiating pastor will be Rev. Marie Anderson.
