  [S927] Obituary. Susan Kay (Becker) Pate, 63, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 2, 1951, in Delphi, Ind., as the daughter of Raymond Willard and Betty Jane (Davis) Becker. She married Gary Lee Pate on Dec. 21, 1974, in Indianapolis. She worked for Goodwill in Greenfield. Susan attended the First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed crafting and creating things and spending any free time with her family. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Gary Pate of Greenfield; daughters, Christin (Stig) Bockman-Pedersen of Wellington, Fla., and Erin (Clark) Costerison of Pendleton; three brothers, Mike, Mark, and Steven Becker all of Lafayette, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Elena, Adriana, Isabella, Cade, Stella, Jaxtyn, and Sawyer; aunt, Janet Wade of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Betty J. (Davis) Becker; sister, Nancy Mertz; grandparents, Chauncey & Laura Mast; and aunts, Dorothy and Mary. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at First Church of the Nazarene, 1980 South State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be sent to Hancock Hope House, 35 East Pierson Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.
