CHILLICOTHE, IL - Harvey Glenn Taylor, 89, of 814 N. Fifth St. died at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1993, at the Methodist Medical Center emergency room in Peoria.
Born Aug. 13, 1904, in Holliday to John Wesley and Ida C. Williams Taylor, he married Phyllis Schwinn on July 31, 1938, in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Claudia) Mikyska of Peru, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
Four brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
He was a barber in Chillicothe. He worked for the Santa Fe Railway, retiring in 1955. He was a member of the Barbers Union Local 44 of Pekin, Barbers Union Local 289 of Peoria, Brotherhood of Railroad Conductors Association and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
He was a member of George Washington Masonic Lodge 222, AF&AM, of Chillicothe; and Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Peoria.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin.
