Harold was born September 15, 1922, to Walter and Emma Jehle. He was married on February 23, 1950, to Wincel Butell.Harold was a lifelong resident of rural Douglas County Kansas. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He came home and in 1949 opened a garage in Worden. In 1972, he sold the business and became a full time farmer north of Worden.He was a devoted husband to Wincel, and father to two sons. He was proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harold was an avid collector and attended auctions and shows collecting tools, barb wire and other antiques. He was an active member of the American Legion Lloyd Beaton Post 228.He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ivan and Edwin.He is survived by his wife, two sons, three grandchildren and his four great grandchildren.
