Ansonia man dies from injuries; plan funeral Wednesday.
Greenville, O., March 11. --- William Yockey, 85, retired Ansonia blacksmith, died at 2 p. m. Sunday at Wayne hospital, Greenville, from the effects of injuries sustained Friday night when he was run down by a motor car at Ansonia.
Yockey's death was attributed to a skull fracture. Hospital attendants report that he never regained consciousness.
The accident occurred at 8 p. m. Friday as Yockey was attempting to cross Main street in Ansonia. It is claimed that he walked directly into the path of a car driven by Purl Trick, of Coletown. Witnesses have exonerated the auto driver of all blame.
The aged man, who had lived at Ansonia for more than 60 years, leaves a widow, Stella, and four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Riegle, Ansonia; Laura, at home, and Grace and Ruth, both of Detroit, Mich.
Funeral services are to be held at the late residence on E. Calan street, Ansonia, at 2 p. m. (EST), Wednesday with Rev. Hugh A. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Greenville cemetery.

Union City woman dies at son's home in Piqua. - Funeral Wednesday for Mrs. Mary Susan Riggleman.
Mrs. Mary Susan Riggleman, 84, a resident of Caroline street Union City, died Monday at 1 a. m. at the home of a son, Sam Riggleman, in Piqua, O. She had been making her home in Piqua since her health failed last November.
Mrs. Riggleman was born in West Virginia and for the past 20 years had been a resident of Union City. She was a member of the Portland Christian church.
Survivors include the following children: Mrs. May King, of Portland; Charles Riggleman, of College Corner, O.; John Riggleman, of Greenfield; Harry Riggleman, of Williamsburg; Sam Riggleman, of Piqua, O, and Mrs. Fanny Long, of Dayton, O.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p. m. (CST) in the Rose Hill church, rev. D. G. Berkebile, of Union City, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be removed this morning from the Brooks Funeral home in Union City to the residence on Caroline street where friends may call.
