- [S927] Obituary.
Agnes Yambra Depretis 1921 ~ 2009 In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 22, 2009, Grandma "D", Agnes Yambra Depretis, passed away, finally freed from the grip of Alzheimers disease.Agnes was born in Willa, North Dakota to Stephen Yambra and Barbara Hoerner on January 21, 1921. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her love for the Savior was evident in all she did. She will be remembered for her cheerful and energetic personality, her many hikes and "tea" parties with the grandchildren and her tales of growing up in North Dakota. We still joke about some of her old time remedies for various illnesses. There are too many happy memories to even begin to name them all. Agnes is the mother of three children: Frank L. Roulst (Erica), Portland, Oregon; Barbara Howerton, Puyallup, Washington; Linda Johnson (Ralph), Kaysville, Utah. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Gresham, Oregon, Saturday, August 29, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Gateway Funeral Home. We know this is a temporary farewell Mom, Grandma "D", Agnes and friend. Thank you for your love, your example, your faith and sharing your life with us.
