LEOTA M URBAN North Baltimore - Funeral services for Leota M Urban, 91, of North Baltimore, will be held at 11 am Thursday at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore, the Rev Ralph J Mineo officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm today at the funeral home. Mrs. Urban died at 9:15 pm Monday, July 28, 1997, at Blakely Care Center, North Baltimore. She was born Sept 30, 1905, in New Washington to William and Anna (Geisman) Hoffsis. She married Rex A Urban on July 6, 1952 in NOrth Baltimore, and he died June 13, 1967. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Joanne) Shaffer, North Baltimore; three granchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Winfield Hoffsis, and two sisters, Alice Moore and Lulu Hoffsis. Mrs. Urban was a telephone operator for Northern Ohio Telephone Co for 25 years. She was a 1924 graduate of North Baltimore High School. She was a mamber of St Luke's Lutheran Church, North Baltimore, and the Lutheran Church Women. Memorials may be made to the church.
