Mr. Jacob was a retired stove mounter for Eagle Foundry and a founding partner of E-lite Tool & Dye Company. He was a member at St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church. Norman was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Belleville Deer Hunters Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula M., nee Hechenberger, Jacob; his parents, Charles and Josephine, nee Dammerich, Jacob; a brother, Stan Jacob; and two sisters, Dolores Hunt and Minerva Bloomer. He is survived by his two sons, Norman E. (Barbara) Jacob of Belleville, IL, and Michael D.
