WAUKESHA – Robert A. Riley, 82, of Waukesha, died Friday, July 7, 2006, at Linden Grove Health Care Center.
He was born in Kenosha on March 18, 1924, the only child to Robert F. and Florence (Arneson) Riley. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps from 1943 to 1946. He attended Marquette University for two years and also several years at Bryant & Stratton Business School. Robert was employed at Milchap Products from the 1960s until his retirement in 1984. He was a charter member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. On August 21, 1948, he married the former Carol Janzer in Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Joseph Patrick Holland.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral Mass on Monday, July 10, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 South Hartwell Avenue (corner of Hartwell and Newhall Avenues), Waukesha. The Reverend James Volkert will be presiding. Cemetery service with full military honors will be held following the Mass at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials to the LindenGrove Foundation, 425 North University Drive, Waukesha, Wisconsin, 53188, or the charity of the donor's choosing are appreciated. Randle-Dahle Funeral Home.
