Barbara Geis was born April 14, 1901, in Richardton, to Jerome and Anna (Fischer) Dinius. She married Ralph Geis Sept. 23, 1919, in Fallon. Together they raised 10 children. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Zenker, Bismarck, and Delores Barron, Lady Lake, Fla.; three sons, Lorenz Geis, Rever, Mass., Frank Geis, Bismarck, and Richard Geis, Long Prairie, Minn.; 35 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; four daughters, Rose Simmons, Hilda and her husband Hank, Frances and her husband James Roble, and Helen Faccioline; one son, Ronald; one son-in-law, Art Zenker; and her parents.
