Adolph Pleines Birth: Dec. 7, 1903 Carmanova Transnistria Territory, Moldova Death: Nov. 15, 1995 Sacramento County California, USA Adolph PLEINES born 7 December 1903 probably in Neudorf, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia was the son of August PLEINES and Karolina BENDER. After leaving the port of Bremen, Germany on the 28th of September 1905, 1¾ year old Adolph traveling with his parents arrived at Ellis Island, New York aboard the "MAIN" on the 5th of October 1905. The family's final destination was recorded as Ashley, North Dakota to meet up with an uncle. Adolph married Helen M REULE on the 19 March 1927 in North Dakota. They had six children, all born in North Dakota. Adolph and Helen lived in Forbes, North Dakota until 1940 and then moved to California.
