Harold Schott Dies In Hospital
Harold C. Schott, 33, of Ava, died at Bethesda hospital at 8 o'clock Monday. He was the son of John and Clara Leasure Schott.Surviving are his widow, Dorothy; two children, Linda and Imogene of the home; the father; one brother William Edgar of Sebring; four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Daloney of Canton, Mrs. Eloise Miller of Elkhart, Indiana; Mrs. Mary Evelyn Hesson of near Elba and Florentine Schott of Zanesville; the maternal grand-mother, Mrs. Mary Leasure of Mt. Ephraim.
Funeral will be held in the Methodist church in Ava Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Claire Gray of Chandlersville will officiate and burial will be in Halley's Ridge cemetery.

Funeral services for Harold C. Schott, 33, of Ava, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Ava Methodist church, with Rev. Claire Gray of Chandlersville officiating. Burial will be in Halley's Ridge cemetery.
Death came Monday morning at Bethesda hospital. He was the son of John and Clara Leasure Schott.
Surviving are his widow, Dorothy; two children, Linda and Imogene of the home, the father, one brother, William Edgar of Sebring; four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Daloney of canton, Mrs. Eloise Miller of Elkhart, Indiana; Mrs. Mary Evelyn Hesson of near Elba and Miss Florentine Schott of Zanesville, the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Leasure of Mt. Ephram.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the McVay-Shilling funeral home at Caldwell.
According to his death certificate, 33 year old laborer hristian Schott of Ava, Noble Co., Ohio died on May 17, 1948 in Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville, Muskinghum Co., Ohio. He was married to Dorothy Schott [Perkins] at the time of his death. He was born on March 7, 1915 in Noble Co., Ohio to John P. Schott and Clara Leasure. The cause of death is given as "Generalized Carcinomatosis." He was buried on May 20, 1948 in Halley's ridge Cemetery, Ava, Ohio. the information on the death certificate was provided by Dorothy Schott.
