He was born to the late Stephen and Ruth Waldow and graduated in 1970 from High School in Dallas, PA and received his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Union College. Larry was a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston and previously was with IBM for 25 years as a Quality Engineer in New York, Texas and North Carolina. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Jane Waldow of Garner; children, Nicholas Waldow of Poughkeepsie, NY; Jessica Plavicki of Madison, WI; and Victoria Waldow of Boston, MA; grandchildren, Lennon Berndt of Madison, WI; Dawson and Jordan Waldow of Canandaigua, NY; sisters, Ruthie Piquette and husband Floyd of Hudson, FL; and Helene Sheean and husband Hugh of Edgewater, FL; father-in-law and mother- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Ross Smith of Magnolia, Arkansas. Larry treasured his family and friends and had a wonderful sense of humor. A talented chef, he loved boating and woodworking projects.
