Boehm, 74, former owner of Mott Supply Company, passed away Sunday morning, October 5, 1987 at Med Center One in Bismarck after a lengthy illness. Frank was born October 7, 1912 in the Crown Butte area of rural Mandan, the son of Adam J. and Catherine Gress Boehm. At the age of 6, his family moved to Mandan where Frank attended St. Joseph's Grade School. He graduated from Mandan High School in 1932. Frank excelled in sports and was named All State Athlete in his senior year. While in grade school, Frank began working as a delivery boy of Lockbeam and Knoll, advancing as a clerk in the store. After his marriage to Ann Marie Grenz August 26, 1935, he was employed by Marshall Wells Company as a hardware salesman. Later, they moved to Mott to assist W.J. Glenny in the Mott Supply Company store. He subsequently purchased the business and operated it for 45 years. Frank was a devoted family man as well as being active in the community. He was instrumental in establishing the Mott Ambulance Service, was Chief of the Mott Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Mott Booster Club, the Elks Club, a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus member, and a member of the Church of St. Vincent. Besides his wife Ann, he is survived by 6 daughters, Kathleen Schlosser, Rock Springs, Wyoming; Mrs. Richard ?LaVonn' Steiner, Bismarck; Mrs. Clifford ?Pataricia' Zent, Rapid City, South Dakota; Mrs. Dennis ?MaDonna' Stanford, Valley City; Cynthia Boehm, Pierre, South Dakota and Mrs. Courtney ?Lurene' Shereck, Mandan; son Donald, New Salem; 24 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 brothers, Casper, Boca Raton, Florida; Michael, Fremont, California; Leo, Mandan; Ralph, Escondido, California; and Paul, San Jose, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one grandson.
