Helen D. Lumbatis, 63, of 33381 Firehouse Road, Lewisville, Ohio died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born at Beallsville, Ohio on November 2, 1943 a daughter of the late Encil G. and Verna L. Carpenter McDougal.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Lumbatis.
Surviving are two sons: Stephen (Darlene) Lumbatis of Lewisville, Ohio and Brent Lumbatis and his companion, Sheila Whitely of Calais, Ohio; one sister: Geneva Hendershot of Beallsville, Ohio; one half-brother: Raymond Carpenter of Jerusalem, Ohio; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason) Dailey, Jessica Lumbatis and Jared Lumbatis; one great granddaughter: Jadyn Dailey; a very special friend, Raymond Beardmore of Lewisville, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 S.R. 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Fund, 4916 Hills and Dales Road, N.W., Canton, Ohio 44708.
