Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Bismarck, with the Rev. Paul Eberle, officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Bismarck Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Bertha Doll was born in Almont on Jan. 12, 1917, the daughter of Nicodemus and Barbara (Helbling) Doll. She grew up on a farm near St. Joseph's Church in rural Morton County. Throughout her life, she enjoyed working various jobs. After retirement, she spent many years baking and helping others. She was a member of Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Church and enjoyed attending daily mass. She never missed Tuesday Morning coffee after mass. She was an avid league bowler and enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by her sister, Mary Erhardt, Glen Ullin; her sister-in-law, Bertha Doll, Glen Ullin; and numerous, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Joseph, Peter, Martin, Roy, Leo, John and Nick; three sisters, Pauline Barth, Magdalin Morrell and Ann Doll.
