  [S927] Obituary. Eileen J. DePasco, 73 NILES ? Eileen J. DePasco, 73, of 1137 Shadow Ridge Road, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. She was born Jan. 20, 1935 in Elk Township, the daughter of F. Daniel and Maude Day Stoffel. Eileen was employed for 15 years at General Motors, Lordstown as an assembler before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Youngstown and United Auto Workers Women?s Committee. Eileen enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, baking, spending time with her family, watching birds, especially cardinals, in her backyard, and friends, and family visits always put a smile on her face. Her husband of 33 years, John J. DePasco, died March 18, 1987. Her longtime companion of 16 years, John T. Cella, died Feb. 16, 2004. Eileen will be deeply missed by a son, Ralph DePasco and wife Mary Helen of Louisville, Ky.; a daughter, Carmella ?Connie? DePasco with whom she made her home; three brothers, Charley M. Stoffel and wife Betty of Wellsville, G. Preston Stoffel of Canton, and Daniel Stoffel and wife Janet of Lewisville; two grandchildren, John J. DePasco and Evan P. DePasco; four stepchildren; 11 step grandchildren; nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia DePasqua of Youngstown, and Ida Mae Stoffel of Lower Salem; and her beloved cat, Prince. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Dean Stoffel. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Youngstown, with Fr. Edward Noga officiating, preceded by at 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.
