A resident of Akron most of her life, she lived the last 25 years in West Palm Beach, Fla. She retired from the Palm Beach County School Board, and was a member of the United Methodist Church of West Palm Beach. Preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Margaret Flesher; son, James Forsch; brother, Lee Flesher; and longtime companion, Bud Meredith, she is survived by her sons, Jeff (Penny) Forsch of Akron, Gregg Forsch of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Jamie, Cristy, Kelly, Samantha, Shaun, Alex, and Shannon; one great-grandson; sister, Eleanor (Jim) Canning of Akron; brother, Rolland Hap Flesher of Quaker City; special friends, Pat (Trish) McCorkel of Canal Fulton, Susie and Pat of West Palm Beach, and many other special friends.The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service and the Hospice Care Center. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd., where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jerry Butcher officiating.
