  http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/z/i/m/Steve-Zimmerle/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0002.html In his early years Harvey worked at the Blackburn Poultry House, the Kralis Poultry House, and he became a welder in WWII after he had been classified as 4-F and could not serve in the military service because of Scoliosis of the spine. He helped build LST'S in the Evansville, Indiana Shipyard until the end of WWII. He would become a welder and work for Floyd Fehrenbarker's Welding Shop. When AMF located in Olney Harvey was employed as a setup man because of his welding skills. He was mechanically inclined, loved cross word puzzles, the Time Magazine, all sports, and life in general. He built several houses and was an excellent carpenter. He and his brothers would get together on Friday nights and play their instruments for all to enjoy. Harvey played the guitar and sang. He was capable of doing anything upon which he focused his mind and skills. His funeral was officiated by Rev C.T. Cramer.
