  [S927] Obituary. Ruth L. Landgraf Ruth L. Landgraf Ruth L. Landgraf, 86, of Chicora, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday in the Chicora Medical Center following a lingering illness. Born in Butler County, Sept. 12, 1922, she as the daughter of the late Rubert J. and Estella McGrady Trimbur. She had worked at Bantam in Butler during World War II and then worked as a waitress at King's Restaurant on Cunningham Street in Butler. The restaurant is now an apartment complex. She was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Parish, Butler. Surviving are a daughter, Karen Kamerer and her husband, Randall, of Chicora; three sons, Richard Landgraf and his wife, Judy, of Chicora, Ralph Landgraf and his wife, Dawn, of Driftwood and Gary Landgraf and his wife, Darlene, of Parker; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Moore of Butler, Dorothy Osche and her husband, Bernard, of Reading, Nancy Trimbur of Chino, Calif., and Marie Miller of Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Landgraf. They were married Aug. 11, 1941; and he died Sept. 25, 2003. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Davis; and two brothers, Rubert and Howard Trimbur. LANDGRAF - Friends of Ruth L. Landgraf, who died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Parish, 127 Franklin St., Butler with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan, pastor, officiating.
