Clarence Gilbert ?Shine? Cline, 87 of 621 County Road 30-A, Jeromesville went to be with the Lord in Heaven Saturday, November 10, 2001. He was born in Monroe County, November 18, 1913, the son of James R. and Louisa Lallathin Cline. Mr. Cline was employed by F. E. Myers for 30 years retiring in 1976. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by five sons and two daughters-in-law, Dwight Cline and Melvin Cline of Hayesville, Duane and Marilyn Cline of Ashland, James R. and Lana Cline of Jeromesville and Larry Cline of Rinard Mills; three daughters and one son-in-law Brenda (Sue) and Jerry Stockdale of Hayesville, Beverly Owens and Darlene Harris both of Ashland; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; one brother Wilber Cline of Daytona Beach, Florida; one sister-in-law and her husband Imogene and Woodrow Cline of Jeromesville and one brother-in-law, Edgar Knowlton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Geraldine Cline, July 27, 2001, two grandchildren Billi Jo Fulk and Marcie Hiller, four brothers, Lawrence, Roy, Paul and Lester Cline and three sisters, Edith Handschumaker, Pearl Bode, Ida Parks. Services will be held at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at 10:30 with Pastor Myrl Gephart and chaplain Gary Guifire officiating. Burial will be in the Vermillion Cemetery at Hayesville. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 9. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hayesville Fire Department, the Hayesville United Church or the Hospice of North Central Ohio.
