He was born August 7, 1934 in Shelby County, the son of Edward and Matilda (Miller) Runnebohm.Ray was a lifelong resident of this area, and had graduated from Waldron High School in 1952. He served in the US Army from 1957- 1959. Along with being a life-long farmer, Ray operated and owned a dairy until 1995.Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sandy (Smith) Runnebohm of Shelbyville; son Todd (Karen) Runnebohm of Shelbyville; daughters: Beth Ann (Mike) Petrow of Indianapolis, Becky Easton of Arizona and Tracy Miller of Shelbyville; sisters: Katherine (Richard) Marshall and Ruth (Al) Schaf, both of Shelbyville; grandchildren: Abby Miller of Shelbyville, Tina Langbeen of AZ, and Stephen Easton of Bedford; 3 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Paul, Glenn, and Eddie Runnebohm; and sister Thelma Kuhn.A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.Services entrusted to Glenn E.
