David A. Mitchell, 52, 5312 Grapevine Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana formerly of Huntington, Indiana died at 7:02 am, Tuesday, September 29, 1998 at Community Hospital East, Emergency Room, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mr. Mitchell was born June 20, 1946 in Huntington, Indiana to Henry M. and Dorothy I. Obermyer Mitchell. Both parents are deceased.
Mr. Mitchell married Cynthia Kasper August 3, 1968 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, Indiana. She survives and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Mitchell served in the Army during the Vietnam War. A 1964 graduate of Huntington High School, and a graduate of International Jr. College, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was an accountant for the Finance Center, Indianapolis, Indiana. A member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Calling hours were 4-8 pm, Thursday, October 1, 1998 at The Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana with rosary at 7 pm.
Funeral mass was Friday, October 2, 1998 at 11 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana with Father Gary Sigler officiating.
Burial and graveside service with Military Rites was in Marion National Cemetery, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, Indiana at 1 pm, Friday October 2, 1998.
Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana was in charge of arrangements.
