  [S927] Obituary. Richard Peter Fyock, 59, Indiana, died Monday, January 18,2010, at Beacon Ridge.Richard was the son of Richard Gerald and Betty Randall Fyock. He was born April 15, 1950 in Penn Run.Richard was a lifetime resident of Indiana County who had been employed as a coal miner for fourteen years prior to working for Torrance State Hospital for an additional twelve years.Richard was a veteran of the Army, having served as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing and reading. He was a loving father and grandfather who cherished and adored his granddaughters, who affectionately referred to him as Pappy.His great sense of humor and kind sensitive heart will be forever remembered by both family and friends.Surviving are his parents, Richard and Betty Fyock, Penn Run;children,Richard "Greg" Fyock and his wife Jennifer of Indiana, and Angela Spade and husband Jesse, Marion Center; his companion, Wendy Kerley, Derry, and her parents, Francis "Shorty" and Donna Kubistek; sisters, Carol Rainey and husband, Richard, Patricia Lydic, all of Penn Run, Linda Roof and her husband Earl, Creekside, Karen Markel and husband Ed, and a brother Mark Fyock, both of Penn Run; grandchildren Jayda and Sydni Fyock and Kyleighia Spade.Richard was proceded in death by his brother Scott.Friends will be recieved from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral service will be conducted Friday morning, 11AM in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Rick Markel, Officiating.
