Leasure, Edward Dale Leasure, Sr. Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio, May 1, 2010 Edward Dale Leasure, Sr., 65, of 224 North Sixth Street, Byesville, Ohio died Friday, April 30, 2010 at his home. He was born near Stafford, Ohio on July 7, 1944 a son of the late Bert Otis and Blanche Brown Leasure. Edward was a retired construction worker for the Laborers Union Local #639, Marietta, Ohio. He enjoyed watching his son dirt track racing and was an avid Duke Basketball fan. Surviving are his companion, Patti McConnell Leasure of the home; one son: Edward Dale Leasure, Jr. and his wife, Tammy of Cambridge, Ohio; one sister: Margaret Dillon of Marietta, Ohio; two grandchildren: Zachary Leasure and Lacey Leasure; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister in infancy; five brothers, Junior, Roger, James, Pete and Lloyd Leasure. Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 S.R. 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 with Evangelist Mark Beros officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Summerfield, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
