He died of a heart attack at Big Lake, Indiana He had gone to big lake to help my grandfather, James Russell open the lake cabin for the summer. Clarence's nickmane was "Shocky" becasue he was short and had big ears, so it was said he looked like a shock of corn in the field. He visited my grandparents every weekend and brought my mother a record or song book every time. He was a pressman for "Our Sunday Visitor" in Huntington, Indiana. I have some of his personal things. I found them in my mothers safe after she died last year. I have a copy of his obit. and all of his brothers and sisters also. He is buried next to his father but there is no stone. My grandfather was saving for a stone for Clarence when my grandfather died. I am using some of my mother's inheritance for a stone for Clarence. It should be in place by fall. Bill Longest
