Obituary:
Helen Mary Fliehman, 81, of Lowell, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at her home. She was born August 8, 1929 in Watertown Township, Washington County, Ohio, to Leo L. and Ella G. Heiss Rauch. She was a 1947 graduate of Waterford High School. Helen was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and the Catholic Women?s Club. She also was a member of Lowell American Legion Auxiliary, Unit #750 and the L-A Fire Dept. Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, artwork, sewing and baking. Helen is survived her husband, Kelton Fliehman, Jr., they were married on November 4, 1952, also by her four children, John (Brigitte) of Zanesville, Tom (Martha) of Waterford, Susan Arnold (Ferris) of Marietta and Dan (Elanda) of Lowell; three brothers, Howard Rauch (Jane Ann) of Lowell, Paul of Devola and Francis of Marietta; a sister, Betty Russell (Ed) of Devola; brother in law, Joe Fliehman of Marietta; grandchildren, Stacey Greenup (Jess), Keith Arnold (Crystal), Bradley and Evan Arnold, Mark, Anna, Amy, Will, Ryan, and Eric Fliehman; step grandchildren, Jacob and J.P. Skeens and step great grandchild, Carly Skeens. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, with the Rev. Timothy Huffman as celebrant. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m., where the Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
