Alfred L. Samblanet
Alfred L. Samblanet, age 89, of Louisville, passed away Friday, February 27, 2004 at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Alfred was born October 28, 1914 in Harrisburg to
the late Austin and Florence (Frank) Samblanet. He retired from Superior Dairy in 1977. He was a member of Saint Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. Alfred was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He has touched our lives forever and leaves a legacy for generations to come. We will keep his love and memories in our hearts forever. He leaves behind his nine children, six sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lynn Samblanet of Massillon, Ronald and Linda Samblanet of Alliance, Dennis and Elaine Samblanet of Lake Milton, Roger and Linda Samblanet of Louisville, Tim and Tina Samblanet of Diamond and Terry and Theresa Samblanet of Louisville; his three daughters and two sons-in-law, Joyce and John Randall of Council Bluff, IA, Melinda Samblanet-Dannemiller of Canton and Sue and Jerry Randulic of Louisville, 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marty (Jim) Pfabe of Louisville, Fay Pitts of Salem, Thelma Fladung of Louisville and Helen (Chuck) McDonald of Canton. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta (Violand) Samblanet in 1995; brothers, Bernard, Howard, Jim, John and William Samblanet; and sisters, Mary Bahl, Anna Mae McCormick and Doris Martelet; and one granddaughter, Jill Randall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at 10 a.m. by Msgr. Ken Miller. Friends may call Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. in the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Alfred?s name to St. Louis Catholic Church.
