SLATON ? Rosary for William Farschon, 95, of Slaton will be at 7 p.m. today in Englunds Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Hemp officiating.
Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Hemp officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
He died Thursday, May 9, 2002.
He was born Dec. 20, 1906, in Boerne and moved to Slaton in 1914. He attended Slaton schools. He married Rose Hielers on Nov. 15, 1939, in Slaton. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as an operator/clerk and retired as a train dispatcher after 48 years of service in 1971. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife.
The family suggests memorials to St. Joseph Catholic School, 205 S. 19th St., Slaton, TX 79364.
