  Dennis W. Blank Sr., 59, of Fairview Street, Stowe, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at the University of PA Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Birdsboro, he was the son of Charles Blank and Miriam (Bechtel) Blank of Birdsboro. Mr. Blank had worked as a machine operator for Mid-Atlantic Packaging of Montgomeryville. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling. He is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Rita A. (Hornyak); a son, Dennis W. Blank Jr. of Stowe; three brothers, Barry Blank, Robert Blank and David Blank, all of Birdsoboro; sister, Sharon Blank of Cumru Twp. and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High Street, Pottstown, with the Rev. John Smolik officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be Saturday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Mrs. Shelly Stockmal, 400 Creekside Drive, Suite 401, Pottstown, PA 19464, or to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, 3400 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
