  [S927] Obituary. COOPERDALE- Donald Lee Chaney, 77, of 17833 Ohio 60 South, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Genesis Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville. Advertisement He was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Cooperdale, to Henry Ward and Wilma Ruby Young Chaney. He married Mary Madeline (Stevens) Chaney on June 20, 1952, whom survives. He loved to play the guitar and harmonica as he sang with gospel groups and played in nursing homes. In addition to his wife, Mary Chaney of Cooperdale, his is also survived by two daughters; Donna (Dwight) Beatty of Canal Lewisville, and Judy (Doug) Ugie of Cooperdale, three grandsons; Josh Ward, Derrick Beatty, and Taylor Ugie, four great grandchildren; Aaron Ward, Emma Ward, Anna Ward, and Lane Beatty, a brother, Kenney Chaney of Coshocton, and an aunt, Nona Waters of Breckinridge, Mich. He is preceded in death by his parents. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at the funeral home with the Rev. Wilbur Beaver and Pastor Scott Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.
