She was born Sept. 23, 1956, in Colorado Springs, Colo., daughter of Esther P. Murray Keyser of Caldwell and the late John W. Keyser Sr. Mrs. Angus was a graduate of Medowdale High School in Dayton. She was a retired LPN from Harborside Nursing Home, New Lebanon. She was a former councilwoman for the village of New Lebanon, and an active member of the New Lexington Stagecoach Days Festival Committee. She was also an active supporter of the Dixie fifth grade cheerleaders and a member of Church of Christ at Englewood. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Irwin Angus, whom she married June 29, 1974, and who died Aug. 3, 1996; and a great-niece, Miranda E. Perkins. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer D. Angus of the home; three brothers, John William "Bill" (June) Keyser Jr. of Meadville, Pa., Homer Keyser of Caldwell and James Richard (Pam) Keyser of Vandalia; a granddaughter, Bridgette L. Comer; a sister-in-law and best friend, Martha Jane (Donnie) Vaughn of West Alexandria; her brother-in-law, Timothy Scott (Melody) Angus of Union; close friends, Lou Cooper and Shelby Comer; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. today (Monday) at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, with the Rev. Jim Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery.
