Helen McDougle September 18, 2013 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Save | Helen Ruth McDougle, 84, formerly of Parkersburg, died Sept. 15, 2013, in Tucson, Ariz., where she currently resided. She was born Sept. 13, 1929 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Fred J. and Bertha Ada Ludwig Somerville. She was employed at Community Savings & Loan, Richards Energy, Inc., and ASCO Services Parkersburg, W.Va. She is survived by her son, Lance McDougle and wife Vicki McDougle of Florida; daughter, Karen McDougle of Arizona; and two granddaughters, Amanda Aderholt and Taylor McDougle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rolla M. McDougle in 1992, and two brothers, Paul Somerville and G. Lee Somerville. Services will be Friday, 10 a.m., at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Marjorie Bevans officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
