Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan, with burial in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a Catholic Daughters rosary will be said at 4 p.m. today, followed by a parish vigil and rosary at 7:30 p.m. Minnie Kautzman was born Jan. 1, 1910 in the Judson-Crown Butte area of Morton County. She was the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Boehm) Kautzman. She was raised and educated in the Crown Butte area. Minnie married Adam Gratz on Oct. 29, 1929. They farmed in the Crown Butte area, moving to Mandan in 1946 when they retired from farming. Minnie worked as a cook at Christ the King for four years, Heartview for 12 years, and also at the Mandan Moose for several years. She was a resident of St. Vincent's Nursing Home for the past 10 years. Minnie is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Eugene and Donna, Apple Valley, Minn., Harry, New Salem, and Joe and Angie, Mandan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Dennis Glaser, Mandan, and Peggy and Russell Gustin, Fairfax, Va.; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe, Mandan; and three sisters, Beatrice Eckroth, Katie Barnhardt and Tillie Koch, all of Mandan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adam, who died July 8, 1978; one son, Adam; one daughter, Mary; a great-granddaughter, Taylor; four brothers, George, Emil, Harry and Eugene; and three sisters, Rose, Eva and Florentina.
