Jack H. Gredlein
Age 83, of Canton, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, in Aultman Hospital following a long illness. He was born June 16, 1926, in Wheeling, W.Va. to the late Henry and Nellie (Devinney) Gredlein. Jack was retired from Ohio Power after 40 years of service in the accounting department and he was an Air Force veteran, having served in World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Gredlein on May 11, 1999. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan (Barry) Williamson of Canton, Karen (Steve) Amatangelo of North Canton; four grandchildren, Sara Williamson, Katy (Timur) Hindanov, Caroline and Bryan Amatangelo; two great-grandchildren, Niky and Lilly Hindanov.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Welch-Sekeres-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. James P. Mock officiating. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday (Tonight) 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in his memory to the American Lung Association.
