David Charpentier CRESWELL - A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at Creswell Presbyterian Church for David Joseph Charpentier of Creswell, who died Dec. 25 at age 62. The family chose not to list the cause of death. He was born Jan. 26, 1944, in Yakima, Wash., to Gordon and Effie Charpentier. Charpentier founded A-1 Asphalt Paving in 1978 and operated it until 2004. Survivors include his mother, Effie Faller of Lewiston, Idaho; two daughters, Terina Charpentier of Anchorage and Jolene Daugherty of Kamiah, Idaho; two sons, Vincent of Springfield and Aaron of Creswell; and two sisters, Karen Davis and Linda Bundy, both of Lewiston; a brother, Don of Lake Stevens, Wash. Arrangements by McHenry Funeral Home in Corvallis.
