Annetta Schaeffer was born in Yankton South Dakota on March 25, 1918 to Emma (Kirshenmann) and Jacob Spitzer. She married Oscar Schaeffer, and together they raised 2 children in Cuyama,Ca. Annetta enjoyed enjoyed life to it's fullest including, gardening, fishing, her love for cooking and watching the Dodgers. She was a long time member of the Ebenezer Reformed Church in Shafter for 71 years. Annetta was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years and survived by her son Don and wife Jan from Henderson, Nevada; daughter Marlene and husband Jerry of Wheatland California; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother Herb Spitzer of Morro Bay; sister Aletha Delzer of Bakersfield, many friends and extended family members. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 12, 2010 – 2pm at Ebenezer Reformed Church with interment immediately following at Shafter Memorial Park.
