Marten B. Plamondon
Vancouver
Marten Bruce Plamondon, an active member of the Catholic church who attended both St. Mary's in Ridgefield and St. John's in Vancouver, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 82.
Mr. Plamondon was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Plamondon, Alberta, and lived in Clark County since 1932.
He worked as a potman for Alcoa. He enjoyed working in his yard and with the marriage tribunal through the Catholic church.
His wife, Teresa, died in 2001, and a son Martin B. II, died in 2004.
Survivors include one daughter, Delores Marie Hartzell of Puget Island; four sons, Richard, John and Bruce, all of Vancouver, and Michael of Ariel; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A recitation of the rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Ridgefield.
Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
